Nucky Thompson, The Boss and Prohibition Lemonade
It’s 1920 and the 18th Amendment to the Constitution officially prohibits the manufacture, sale, transport, import or export of alcoholic beverages in the U.S. No such law exists just over the border in Canada, so it’s no surprise that Canadian Club, one of North America’s best selling whiskies of the day, was the focus of interest, particularly from some of Chicago’s most notorious gangsters.

The Boss
1 ½ parts Canadian Club® Whisky
½ parts DeKuyper® Anisette
½ parts DeKuyper® Triple Sec
¼ parts Maraschino Liqueur
1 dash of Bitters
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Drop in a cherry

CC Prohibition Lemonade
In a tall glass filled with ice add:
1 part Canadian Club® Reserve 10-Year Whisky
3 parts Lemonade
Top with club soda
Garnish with a lemon wheel
