jack colada1 The Jack Colada: A Pina Colada Recipe by Jack DanielsThe Jack Daniels Pina Colada recipe is for those dreaming of the beach, surf, sun and chilling on your deck in the spring and summer time.  It may not be officially Spring yet, but we’re ready for a vacation!  Even if we can’t set sail the next few  weekends, we can still kick back with a Jack Colada and a few friends and make plans for our tropical getaway.

The Jack Colada

 Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz. Jack Daniel’s® Tennessee Whiskey

1/2 oz. Tuaca®

1 oz. cream of coconut

2 oz. pineapple juice

Mix ingredients with 1/2 cup of ice in a blender until slushy. Pour into a hurricane glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and enjoy responsibly. For a twist on the Jack Colada, add a splash of Chambord® and garnish with raspberries.

    Sounds pretty good, I’ve been trying to get the mix of Jack Daniels, coconut and pineapple right, this is what I came up with:

    1/2 parts Jack Daniels
    1/2 parts white rum
    1 part coconut cream
    1 part pineapple
    little splash of mango syrup.
    Blended with ice, served in a hurricane glass, with a pineapple wedge.

    I’ll definitely try this one though, is Tuaca kinda the same as Licor 43 “Cuarenta Y Tres”? As it’s more available here, and according to the description, more or less the same.
